sur le gare avec notre meres et grandmeres

so, for some more festivities in honor of Mum, we took a train ride - it was grandma's wish. a bunch of the family gathered and we rode the roaring camp train to the top of the mountain. it was quite a hoot. most of these pics come courtesy of uncle ric's fabulous camera. we love you grandma mae, we love you trudy!

Looks like a fun day for ya'll -

I remember when we took our singing 'Solace' selves aboard that train, garbed in Dickens attire. ;) Fun memories.

Love the black and white shots... and the one with your hair blowing in the breeze is gorgeous. We took Evan to Roaring Camp for last year's birthday and he loved it. I'm trying to convince my sister to take my train-obsessed nephew :)
