come on in

this house-bying thing has been a LONG process, but the Lord has done it! we made an offer on a condo foreclosure in january, and on thursday we'll get the keys and move in this weekend! this is so huge. to afford something in santa cruz county is a miracle. we literally jumped for joy, cried for joy, and sang for joy. God kindness is amazing, and we have witnessed His perfect timing and provision throughout the process. as you know, this was one of the two prayers we had for this new year, and so we praise Him and we are so thankful.

wanna see it?? ;) here's some pics! it's in scotts valley, a downstairs unit, 2 bed, 2 bath, fireplace, lots of sun, washer and dryer, and dishwasher!!! aah, the simplicities of life. ;) the paint is beautiful, the floors are lovely, and the crown moulding adds such an elegant touch. we've got some work to do in the kitchen, but that's the fun of owning! we'll have a real guest room now, so come on in! our door's open. :)
