perfect day
everything i love:
i slept in.
i made the bed.
i straightened the house.
i watched food network and got inspired.
i turned on foy vance, set the table, and made a brilliant jamie oliver recipe, without spending a cent.
hubby came home.
with tulips.
he freshened up and donned a red tie.
we dined sur la candle-lit table.
we watched josh groban's concert at the greek theatre on dvd and admired his voice.
we drove to the movie theater and saw confessions of a shopaholic and admired the colors and the british accent.
we had chocolate for dessert.
how could this be a more perfect day? :)

my plate looks a bit bare without the garlic bread, but i was stoked about the pot pie pastry!
this is so real-life. i've got a messy fridge, a dirty kitchen, dish gloves hanging off my cupboard, and a loving hub. i love it.
