Ah, Lewis. Two months ago I began to re-read the ever famous "Chronicles of Narnia". They were wonderfully read to me as a child but somehow I'd not touched them since. Anyhow, I just tore through them--they seemed so much shorter than when I was little. But so very rich. I was a little shocked at the depth that is portrayed in such a short story and also the sorts of things one might pick up on reading them as an adult vs. as a child. Which is not to say that one ought not to read them as a child. I just mean the layers keep on piling on and it is good. Many blessings! Love, Naomi
